From the collection of Császár Attila

The repertoire of the Eszterlánc ensemble is primarily based on the collections of Császár Attila from Mezőség. The selection made from his recordings and photos can be found on the social networking sites called “Mezőségi utakon”

The selection is nothing more than a musical travelogue of the Mezőség region, which began in 1989 and is still being written today. I trust that, as it is continuously expanded, it will provide a comprehensive and special picture of the singers, musicians and living song treasures of many villages for those interested. Perhaps an even more important goal is to help the voices reach the villages again, or at least the grandchildren in the cities!
I would like to thank the performers on the recordings for passing on all this beautiful singing and music.
